Atlas Iron Limited

Atlas Iron Ltd has over 15,000 square kilometres in land in the Pilbara region.  The Company commenced production of direct shipping grade iron ore resources from the Pardoo Project in late 2008, and commenced iron ore exports in December 2008.  Atlas achieved production of 1 million tonnes per annum in its first year of operation, Atlas is forecasting production from its Pardoo and Wodgina Projects to reach a rate of 6 million tonnes per annum by late 2010.  Together with planned production from Abydos and Mt Webber, Atlas is targeting 12 million tonnes of annual production by 2012.


Brockman Resources

Brockman Resources Limited (ASX:BRM) is focused on the development of its 100%-owned Marillana Iron Ore Project, located 100 km north of Newman in the Pilbara, in close proximity to existing rail, road and port infrastructure.  Marillana boasts a world class JORC compliant resource of 1.63 billion tonnes of iron ore and will potentially be the fourth largest hematite iron ore project in Australia.  Brockman is completing a Definitive Feasibility Study based on a nominal 17 - 20 Mtpa of 60.5% Fe beneficiated product for a minimum mine life of 20 years.

 

FerrAus Limited

Ferraus Limited is an emerging developer of iron ore with a strategic foothold covering more than 540 square kilometres in an under-explored, highly prospective new iron ore sub-province in the East Pilbara region.  The "FerrAus Pilbara Project" contains the Robertson Range area, the Davidson Creek area and the Murramunda area.  FerrAus commenced a Pre-Feasibility Study in February 2010 targeting 15Mtpa production.  The Company also announced a major increase in the iron ore resources at the FerrAus Pilbara Project to 276.9 million tonnnes in March 2010.
